Hey Guys! Im Victoria! So this is my very first time to blog..so far its been a great experience though! Right now, I'm in a class called New Works. This is by far the MOST amazinggg class ever. It is exclusively offered at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. I am at this school for theater..THE BEST CLUSTER! of course. Just Kidding! But right now in New Works, we are exploring Paul Baker's "9 Elements of Form" We are studying "space" right now..which means im exploring cyberspace! A few days ago, We did a mini-tribute to 9/11. It was like a celebration of our country being united. In Mr. Richard's class we looked at 9/11 from a victim inside of the buildings perspective. The dance studio was covered in flour. The flour represented the ashes of all of the peoples whose lives were lost in 9/11. We were to dance, and really FEEL the emotions within us. It was INTENSE mann. like real intense. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget.
It was an influencial event for me. God bless those who died in 9/11. <3
